The Paradigm of Misspelling

This a lovely place where everything is misspelled and everyone frolicks in fields of pretty flowers! Or not...

Guess what? Adm. Slusser randomly changed the password AGAIN! And it's STUPID too! It'd be like picking brussel sprouts or something! gr.... Sometimes, he's just sooooo random....

AND now we have orders to go to VULCAN, of all places, and search for cloaked ships. That's stupid. AND I dont know if we can go... so...

We went to IHOP today. I was all excited till the pouting started... Then my mother started talking to me and my father claimed to be the "Master of Love." Feel free to be afraid. Very afraid.

Apparently, my mother is looking for the number for pizza hut. I wish she would hurry... Hmmm... Pizza the Hutt... Ah, she's found it! She's ordering now...

Also, nana's going home (I think) so she's probably at least somewhat better. That's good.

Um... Trying to fix the virus. I hope it'll work... I really don't wanna wipe out the hard drive...

urg... had to eat so I gpt cut off for a while. I hope they're not mad...

Popped a buttton. On the back pocket, not the front.

I have to go fix the puter. Besides, daddy wants to play Warcraft.

Hmmm... We have a new Fleet CO, Jeffery Van Mierlo. I hope he's nice. But I still wish I knew what happened to Admiral Dhillon... Huttary retired, so I know that's what happened to him (not like I knew him well or anything), but still...

We have the band picnic tonight, but I don't know if we'll be able to march. I hope so, because that auditorium is HORRIBLE!

I went painting with Val again. She actually got some acrylic paint, so we painted with that. Fun fun fun.

I'm a little off today because Nana's in the hospital with pnemonia. Apparently she's seeing things, which is normal, but...

Also, I'm having AIM conversations, so this is getting a little neglected

HUM is Lamb first, Colglaizer second. Yuo really needed to know that.

I hypnotized Jen. Fun

And today is the return of Katana's Kick Kount at 1!

I'm pretty *expletive deleated* hard core! Fear me!

Lemon Merengue, of course...

How did I know?

Not that I wont have one! I just don't NEED one...

I think I'll be done now. ...kay...

w00t! Back alive from the trenches! And, I must say, they were TRENCHES! But it was fun. And I got the Lemon Mergangue yougurt. teehee. Let's see... Band camp...

*wavy lines*

Sunday we started early with loading the trailer. Then, we got roped into quartermsterly-type things. But, on the bus I sat next to Christine and some of our friends and freshmen and we watched "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," in compliance with our music. The best part was, everytime Oliver Wood came on the screen we all went "Oliver Wood is HOT!" and then Andy moaned int the background.

When we got there we had a "Sorting Ceremony" with Ryan Landol's cowboy hat. BTW, I'm in Gryffindor! w00t! So are Matt, Madeline, Keith, and Jen. Fun. Christine, Gilene (with ONE l!), Duty, and Sollosi are in Hufflepuff along with Bethy. Jeff is in Ravenclaw along with Yano and Willy. And poor, poor Erin is in Slytherin with ANDY! But Christine called out across the pavilion when one of our freshmen had been sorted into Slytherin "You stay away from her, Andy DeSoto." That was priceless.

We had practice and then ate. We played "I've Never" after that. I won once and Amanda won the second time. And all was good.

I ended up telling Jen my whole long sad story before I went to bed because I promised her I would. She seemed interested. TOO interested...

*wavy lines*

Monday we played a lot. We got the second tune which PJ conviniently forgot to give us, but we couldn't do anything with the auxilliary cause they overlapped. I'm pretty sure this was the day we moved eight times, including going up to the field to play with the rest of the band (GASP!). We had to play on the tennis courts and I got mildly sunburned. It was bad.

Gettign ready for the dance was hard. You see, I only packed one extra outfit. It was bad. But Jen was blackmailing me, and the rest of the pit was likely to kill me if I didn't go. So I went.

I did the PJ a lot. According to PJ, if you don't know how to dance, just bounce and point. So that's what I did. We ended up huntign down Duty because he was hiding in his room, bu he came for his three and a half minutes. It's totally unfair, too, cause I had to stay for an HOUR last year. Oh, well. At least some good came of it. Tom asked Erin to dance. And while we're on the subject, I was asked to dance by Matt, which made me VERY happy. I gave Jen a flying leap hug and gave her bruises. Sorry, Jen. I ended up talking with Amanda and Jen at the bottom of the staircase. Happy, happy, happy.

*wavy lines*

Tuesday we played a lot (again) but this time some new real estate on the front porch of the building and we hae a circle of pit. It's very nice.

I couldn't stand my wrists anymore, so I got ice. It was cold. But the advil was very nice. Went to the mandatory bonding activity. Tim hit his head, so I have a feeling we didn't do as many stupid things as we could have. Had a hug party. And ice cureemu.

*wavy lines*

Wednesday we played some more. Kevin slept until breakfast, so we didn't have to do anything important. We also had the diet coke break. Gilene first covered us in shaving cream and glitter, then use temporary pink hair dye, followed by some fresh pink white musk. I aslo got jewlery. I was laughing the whole time. But then again, I'm always laughing. Kevin gave us the third peice and said 'learn this'. And we did in three hours that afternoon. Pit is awesome. We also took showers during our twenty minute break. It was funny because I wasn't done brushing my hair when we came back, so I told him he couldn't be there cause I wasn't done and he turned around and left. We also did a puzzle with hot air balloons. It was fun.

I went to the dance that night and mysteriously hurt my hand. It was wierd. But when I came back I danced with Matt (*^.~*). We went outside to talk and Sam came up behind us and put his hand on mine. It was very nice. I ended up talking to Jen about it. Fun.

*wavy lines*

Thursday started with the Pit Circle of Gossip. Christine says she has a sign on her head that says "Ask me about all of your problems." Except Steven doesn't go to her. I said she should give him a big hug, say thank you, Hilber, then walk away and laugh at his confusion. She wouldn't do it. Silly (Sollosi) said the beans came form animals, so now we tease him about it. teehee. We did Karaoke and sang 18 wheels on a big rig and build me up, buttercup. Then, we played some more and went to the talent show. It was good. I was "the elusive lemon merangue yogurt" for Mr. Mouth. And four of the trumpet guys sung the "Yatta song." I was amused.

I was sad cause when I went to talk to Mmtt, Christine called me, and when I turned around he was gone. Curse fate and the Powers that Be!

I made a sign for our door that said "Please prank Jenny all you want, but please don't prank Amanda unless your name is Gilene or Yano or it's really, really, AWESOME!. Then we awaited the pranks.

*wavy lines*

Friday brought packing and pranks. Gilene wrote on us, but streamer thingies on our beds, and left me a stuffed shark and Jen a necklace and both of us some sour Starbursts. Since I used the word Awesome on my sign, Chris Seidler left us Jolly Ranchers that spelled "Pit Rocks." Then the clarinet guys drew on Jen and left us candy and Chris Jones left Jen a numbered duck. He only had six, but he numbered thm to eight and he hoped people would look for the nonexsistant ducks. They did not, so he was sad. They also wrote all over the field, including Gilene writing "Clare's a ho."

We went home, and I started reading Mythology. Also we wrote a song called "There's a Hole in the Drill" [Lyrics below].

I was sad when we went home that band camp was over, but hey, what can you say. I also lost the top of my pin. I'll have to bug Seidler about another one.

When I got home, I IMed everyone for a while. I talked to Cheryl, Matt, Tom, Christine, Erin, Mister Datcher Man, Umi, McDonald-san, and Tana from Williamsburg. It was for a long time. Then I talked to my father at dinner and her magically knew just what to ask. Stupid psychic father. But I got away by using a funny Baldo comic. Let's see if I can find it...

Try here. It's funny. Ooo, and it's in COLOR!

*wavy lines*

Saturday I thought practice was at eight, not nine, so I was there early. Amanda brought the baby bone. It's very small.

We played a lot. And since it was raining, it was in the auditorium. That was not fun. We ate hamburgers for lunch. Then we took pictures. We all looked to the left and the photographer didn't yell at us. It was amazing!

When I got home I slept and then we went to Outback and *plays drumroll - open, not closed* BORDERS! I bought cool books including Vol. 2 of Kodocha and Utena! And Street Magic! Also, Lady Knight is out. Must go to the library and reserve it...

OH, wait. Already did... hehehe...

*end wavy lines*

Now, here are those lyrics, starting with "dear girls" followed by a response to "dear Andy:"

There's a Hole in the Drill

~There's a hole in the drill.

~Then fix it.

~With what shall I fix it?

~With a tuba.

~But the valves are sticky.

~Then get some valve oil.

~But Keith used it all.

~Then buy some.

~Where shall I buy some?

~At the store.

~But the store is closed.

~Then break in steal some.

~But what if I get caught?

~Then you'll get arrested.

~But then what will happen?

~You'll rot in the jail.

~But why will I rot?

~'Cause we won't pay the bail.

~But what about marching?

~You can't be in the show.

~But (repeat from begining).

Also, we have the new Pit Cadence, hot off the press, and the old one just so we don't forget it.

Pit Cadence 2001

~Nick's our leader, he's so lazy/ his allergies are just plain crazy.

~Look at Gilene, she's got the moves/ when she plays she really grooves.

~The one who knows where we are is Jeff/ he can read in the bass clef.

~Amanda does not like to dance/ those poor boys don't stand a chance.

~A percussionist Christine thinks she's not/ just you wait, she will be taught.

~Vicky really likes to sing/ she hits the bass drum, hear it ring (or "it goes ding").

~Two oboes in the pit, it's true/ but they can play percussion too.

~If stars are not given to us by Nick/ in the balls him we will kick/ and then we'll run away very quick/ 'cause he might be very sick/ etc.

Pit Cadence 2002

~Gilene dances across the floor/ when she stops we cheer for more.

~Jeff plays the vibes a lot/ he likes to say dot, dot, dot.

~Mike Sollosi'd nickname is "Silly"/ if he learns he notes then we'll beat 'Tilly.

~Amanda really likes her Dew/ she went to the dance (It's true!)

~Christine's verse is yet to be determined.

~Duty doesn't have much to say/ but when he's needed, he'll save the day.

~March very well the pit cannot/ but, so what? It's not like we do it a lot.

~Our pit instructor's name is Kevin/ he likes to play volleyball and sleep till eleven.

And there you have it. Also, I'm including my schedule:

1 Pre-calc Orazen
2(Sem. 1) P.E. Schwartz
2(Sem. 2) Perc. Ensemble Ulrey
3 Japanese 3 Fujita
4(Sem.1) Optics & Mod. Phys. Latham
4(Sem. 2) P.E. Schwartz
5 HUM*
6 Chemistry Acio
7 HUM*

*I forget which order they're in, and I don't know where my schedule is right now, but it's Colglaizer - Lamb.

I think that's it for now. See ya.

Since it's giving me problems, here's the second part of my blog from the 20th of July:

Now to some actual text...

I'm verrrry happy that Chrisitne AND Bethy added me on their blogs! Yay! Go see theirs now! Well, maybe after you're done reading.

Since Christine stole writing about practice, I guess I'll write about class.

Um, Java is fun... Oh! We got to look up Brittish money at the Brittish Royal Mint! It's super cool! Really! Also, here's an interesting sound byte:

Mike (the aide): I know why I'm so confused! *stands up, picks up packet and shows front cover which reads "C++"*

*chukles* Anyway, my keyboard is still all messed up, so if anyone might be able to tel me how to fix it, I would really appreciate it. It gives me weird characters when I push buttons, like so: shift + 3 = £; shift + 2 = "; shift + ' = @; backslash = #; + shift = ~; etc.

I decided to pull out my mallets today and dig up my metronome (literally) and actually play. I can play that stupid exercise even when looking directly at the keyboard! Grrr... Tokoro de, PJ came up to me and said "You're playing it blind? Cool." Take THAT Jeff! Wait.... Hypothesis: All Jeffs = evil. I must look into this... And 130 isn't that bad for 74-8, so I don't think I'll need to practice anymore (not that I would anyway).

I put my hair up *gasp* in a clippy thing (actually two 'cause they're small) and I'm wearing spaghetti straps. Someone check the tempurature in heck. But I like it. I give my humble thanks and admiration to Gilene. Or is it Gillene? Sorry, my pit captain. That's why my blog is named what it is, so....

Katana found a new curse word today, which I assume is Brittish. So, I get to kick her 18 times next time I see her. Fun fun fun. And it should be soon, too, because she has enlisted me to help paint her room. Not that I mind since she helped to paint mine...

hm.... What else? Um, my parents bought a pole saw today. We have lots of saws, now that I think about it. And I'm happy cause a blade for the table saw that can cut metal is only hachidoru! for all you that don't know, I consider eight bucks to be cheap, so I'm dancing. Which reminds me...

I'm putting this in writing so no one can forget. Gilene... Gillene... the pit captain has said that if I sing karaoke I don't have to dance. Christine and I are doing "18 Wheels on a Big Rig." Again, I do the pit dance of joy.

We had a surprise trip to Prince William County yesterday. It was alright, though, because we got to go to Fuddrucker's. I haven't been there in *counts on fingers* at least four years. I was happy.

My mother made me clean my closet today, but all I really did was remove some old boxes and broken shells. It wasn't bad at all. Although, my stack of Astronomy magazines is getting a little heavy...

I would like to say that there _are_, in fact, pictures of people with blue mowhawks on the web. I found then on google. Unfortunatly, none of them were hot Asian guys. Sorry, Kim.

Umm... I'm going to tae more quizzes until I can think of something else to say...

I always knew I'd be a CLAMP guy!

You are Kermit!
Though you're technically the star, you're pretty mellow and don't mind letting others share the spotlight. You are also something of a dreamer.

Hi-ho! Amanda thhhee frog here!

I'm sad 'cause I can't find my SW Epi II soundtrack! It makes me mad! Day, night, hour, time, tide, work, play, alone, in company and STILL I cannot find it! grrrrrrrrrr. I also cannot find the first CD I burned! Gah! Where did they go!?!?!?!?!?!

Now, I'm debating whether or not to adopt an anime kitty [here]. Be sure to tell me what you think.

Gah! Bethy's archives are being fussy! Gah! Yay! One finally worked!

You dwell excessively on past memories, particularly the bad ones. You blame yourself for your faults, and fear being a bad person. You can be delusional and paranoid, yet hide these things from others and bury your feelings deep, where you can revive them to dwell on them later. You need to stop dwelling on the past, and look to the future.

Your song is: War Inside my Head

Which degree of inner turbulence are you?

I used it again! Now, I think that Iris and Neal are super awesome names and so should you. especially since they're better than Volda and Mort.

I think I'll go do something else now... Bai-bi.

P.S. If anyone wants to know where that's from, it's what Iron Mouse says whenever she leaves. Iron Mouse is cool and not to be messed with. Understood?

Hmmm... Its late, id'n it? Well, I guess that's what I get for writing long, juicy posts. teehee.

We're watching random Disney movies. Mulan just finished and now we're gonna watch Hercules! Love those movies! And, no, I am not Wuffie.

I read the DeRuyter's board. It's really awesome. Everyone should read it. It's here. Though, I'm a little lost about the fight...

Played more FF8. Nothing really signifigant about it.

Watched LOTR. And all of the features.

Got my schedule. They messed it up for the second year in a row. SO, now, my mother has to go and change it cause I'll be at band camp. Which reminds me, for all you non-band people:

I'll be at pre band camp til about 5:30 for the next three days. Then I leave on Thursday to go to Orkney (band camp). I have a follow up day on Saturday, and then post band camp in the evenings all that next week. And for all who desire to know, yes, I am enjoying my last day of freedom.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, trying to think of something else to write.

Well. Daddy closed the blog window yesterday, so I'll have to write for both yesterday and today.

We had random stalker-men from Hayfield at the game. They were verrrrrrry stupid.

Quote of yesterday: "It's Japanese, you doofwad!"

Um... watched Jeanie today. It was fun. I also played FF8. Woo! Squall, Quistis, and Selphie are a LV100! Yay! Irvine's at, like, 62 and Rinoa's somewhere around 28. Zell's at 20.

Relient confuses me. Very much. He confused Kim too. Read Kim's blog [here]. Very nice story.

Saw wacked out movie called Kung Pow. It was bad.

Tana and I have struck a bargain. She won't say "Draco 'Leather Pants' Malfoy" if I won't reapeat "Maine" in monotone. I suppose it's all for the best. Random quiz time:

Going to see a Redskins game soon. My mother thought we were going to North Carolina. Silly mama.

For some reason, my first couple of blog entries won't show up. I don't know why. I hope they'll work soon...

I got squashed in Frogger. I then proceeded to get burnt to a crisp in FF8. I don't think I'll play anymore today. I think I've got bad luck.

grr... Still won't work...

Compsci is over. *YAY* But we've got band camp next week *OH* Got to eat ice cream though. *YAY* but, I spilled marinara sauce all over my purse. *YAY* I'll stop this now. *YAY* *glares* we mean *OH*! better.

found another cool station. Final fantasy radio. www.ffradio.net. You should try it, it's yummy.

Tana's kick kount is up to nine. But I'll see her tommorow, so it'll probably go down.

Going bowling w/ CS tommorow. You'd know what CS stood for if you were one, so don't ask me. I'm gonna get 32 free games according to my calculations. I'm happy.

It irks me that we cannot say "HARUKA!" tommorow because Christine will be there and she will be angry with us. Poo.

My mother has told me that I must start thinking about band camp NOW. I don't know what I'll do for my rookie buddy yet. I think I might get some ideas when I find him, however. If anyone would be so kind as to ask him to come early, I'd be much abliged. Very much.

I covered my shako hako. It has pretty stars on it. Wait! I just turned around and it's gone! I hope mama put it away...

My dad and Bugman are going to Boy Scout camp. So, next week I won't have to worry about them being around at all. As Christine would say, "Score!" But, Ms. Gia is coming. So, I guess it's a trade off. You see, she has to look for a house. I don't see why she can't live "in palce, in palace!" hehe. bad joke.

Apparently, the word 'wonky' is Brittish. I did not know this. I'm not entirely sure if I believe Tana. But, then again, I'm not entirely sure I believe ANYTHING she says...

I found the sequel to "The Last Sabi." It's very good. You can find it at ff.net. The author's name is Kali ma.

I love porriage. Porriage is all I eat.

Which reminds me, I ate a whole can of clam chowder today. I don't know if that was entirely the best thing to do. But I do know I need to stop useing entirely and buy a thesaurus. And a dictionary too.

I'm currently in the midst of reading Hearts and Hourglasses by Yen. It's rather good.

I've noticed I've been reading a lot of founder fics lately. I wonder if it's not good for my health...

I posted today and sent out my happy e-mails. Even one to Cadet Swiftblade. I really hope he wants to come, especially since he switched to ops or something... I'm confused by him. Oh well...

I think I shall go do someting construcive now. See ya'll later.
